British Police To Get Fingerprint Readers

The British police force will soon be equipped with handheld fingerprint readers thanks to the Mobile Identification At Scene (Midas) project that enables your friendly, everyday policeman to capture a fingerprint on his rounds to identify that person in a snap. After all, isn't the price of freedom eternal vigilance?
